The CMKD-1040A Series is a large, high-current SMD Molded Inductor in a 11.5 mm × 10.0 mm footprint with a 4.0mm low profile. This series is engineered for high-current, high-frequency (up to 5MHz) power supplies.

This smd high current power inductor is built with an Alloy iron powder core ("A" material) and features an extremely high saturation current (Isat) of up to 75.0A. It has an ultra-low DCR (as low as 0.65mΩ max) for high efficiency. Its properties are critical for complex power inductor circuit design. The CMKD-1040A is a market-leading low profile power inductor solution for high-efficiency server, notebook, and multi-phase regulator applications.

Test Conditions: All test data is referenced to 25°C ambient.

Operating Temperature Range: -55°C to +125°C (ambient plus self-temperature rise).

Isat (Saturation Current): DC current (A) that will cause L₀ to drop approximately 30%.

Idc (Rating Current): DC current (A) that will cause an approximate ΔT of 40°C.

Temperature Limit: The part temperature (ambient + temp rise) should not exceed 125°C under worst-case operating conditions.

Solder paste: Sn/3.0Ag/0.5Cu
