Description

The CMKD-0630C Series is an ultra-high-current SMD Molded Inductor in a 7.0 mm × 6.6 mm footprint with a 3.0mm profile. This series is distinguished by its Carbonyl iron powder core ("C" material), which enables exceptionally high saturation performance.

This series is engineered for maximum current density, offering an extremely high saturation current (Isat) of up to 60.0A and an ultra-low DCR (down to 1.7mΩ max). This makes it a premier choice for challenging power conversion inductor applications. The CMKD-0630C's one-piece, magnetically shielded construction ensures low EMI and minimal core loss, making it a superior choice for high-frequency (up to 5MHz) VRMs. This model is one of the lowest resistance options available, truly a low dcr inductor.

Test Conditions: All test data is referenced to 25°C ambient.

Operating Temperature Range: -55°C to +125°C (ambient plus self-temperature rise).

Isat (Saturation Current): DC current (A) that will cause L₀ to drop approximately 30%.

Idc (Rating Current): DC current (A) that will cause an approximate ΔT of 40°C.

Temperature Limit: The part temperature (ambient + temp rise) should not exceed 125°C under worst-case operating conditions.

Solder paste: Sn/3.0Ag/0.5Cu
