The CMKD-0830A Series is a robust SMD Molded Inductor in a larger 8.1 mm × 7.8 mm footprint, with a low 3.0mm profile. This series leverages its larger size to provide an excellent balance of high inductance (up to 33µH) and strong current handling.
Engineered with an Alloy iron powder core ("A" material), this series offers saturation currents (Isat) up to 36.0A. The one-piece, magnetically shielded construction ensures low EMI and high efficiency. The CMKD-0830A is an ideal molded inductor solution for high-frequency (up to 5MHz) DC-DC converters in servers, notebooks, and multi-phase regulators. Operating Temperature Range: -55°C to +125°C (ambient plus self-temperature rise).
Isat (Saturation Current): DC current (A) that will cause L₀ to drop approximately 30%.
Idc (Rating Current): DC current (A) that will cause an approximate ΔT of 40°C.
Temperature Limit: The part temperature (ambient + temp rise) should not exceed 125°C under worst-case operating conditions.
