The CMKD-1340A Series is a robust, high-current SMD Molded Inductor designed for power-hungry applications. It features a large 13.8 mm × 12.8 mm footprint with a slim 4.0mm maximum height, offering a powerful solution for designs with strict height limitations.
This low profile inductor is built with an Alloy iron powder core ("A" material) and provides excellent saturation current (Isat) up to 50.0A and a very low DCR (down to 0.9mΩ max). The one-piece, magnetically shielded construction ensures low EMI and high efficiency. The CMKD-1340A is a premium component, and like all our surface mount power inductors, it is optimized for high-frequency (up to 5MHz) DC-DC converters in servers and VRMs.

Test Conditions: All test data is referenced to 25°C ambient.
Operating Temperature Range: -55°C to +125°C (ambient plus self-temperature rise).
Isat (Saturation Current): DC current (A) that will cause L₀ to drop approximately 30%.
Idc (Rating Current): DC current (A) that will cause an approximate ΔT of 40°C.
Temperature Limit: The part temperature (ambient + temp rise) should not exceed 125°C under worst-case operating conditions.
