The CMKD-0412A Series is a high-performance SMD Molded Inductor that delivers exceptional current handling in a compact, low-profile package. While sharing the same 4.4 mm × 4.2 mm footprint as the 0410A, it features a slightly taller 1.2mm profile.
This modest height increase allows for heavier-gauge windings, enabling a significantly higher saturation current (Isat) of up to 15.0A. Like all CMKD inductors, this inductor power component features a one-piece, magnetically shielded construction for low EMI and is optimized for high-frequency (up to 5MHz) DC-DC converters. Isat (Saturation Current): DC current (A) that will cause L₀ to drop approximately 30%.
Idc (Rating Current): DC current (A) that will cause an approximate ΔT of 40°C.
Temperature Limit: The part temperature (ambient + temp rise) should not exceed 125°C under worst-case operating conditions.
