The NR8040 Series is a high-performance SMD Power Inductor in a larger 8.3 mm × 8.3 mm footprint with a 4.2mm profile. This series is engineered for high-current applications, offering an exceptional saturation current (Isat) up to 13.8A.
This NR8040 provides one of the widest inductance ranges in the NR family, from 0.82µH all the way to 2200µH (2.2mH). Its magnetic-resin shielded construction and closed magnetic circuit design ensure ultra-low acoustic noise, positioning it as an ideal low buzz noise inductor. The core material provides high permeability, and the design minimizes DCR for low ac resistance. The NR8040 is a robust, power-saving solution for demanding power supplies.
