The MBFS7032 Series is a compact, magnetically shielded SMD Shielded Power Inductor in a low-profile 7.0 mm × 7.0 mm footprint with a 3.2mm height.

This series is designed to provide excellent EMI suppression and a wide inductance range (from 3.3µH up to 1000µH) in a small package. Its closed magnetic circuit design reduces leakage flux, making it a reliable and space-saving solution for DC-DC conversion in high-density applications. The MBFS7032 is a robust smd inductor and one of our key power conversion components. It offers a higher current rating than conventional inductors of an equivalent size.

Test Conditions: All test data is referenced to 25°C ambient.

Operating Temperature Range: -40°C to +125°C (ambient plus self-temperature rise).

Idc (Heating Current): DC current (A) that will cause an approximate ΔT of 40°C.

Isat (Saturation Current): DC current (A) that will cause L₀ to drop approximately 35%.

Temperature Limit: The part temperature (ambient + temp rise) should not exceed 125°C under worst-case operating conditions.

Reliability

This product is qualified against a series of mechanical and environmental reliability tests, including Substrate Bending, Vibration, Solderability, Resistance to Soldering Heat, Temperature Characteristics, and High/Low Temperature Storage. (See PDF pages 88-90 for full details).
