Engineer's Insight: The LFR4218 is designed for "Heavy Duty" filtering. By winding 1.6mm thick wire on a large T31 core, we achieve a high minimum inductance of 2.0mH without sacrificing current capability. The low DCR of 15mΩ ensures the choke runs cool even under heavy AC loads.
